biography

Hannah Willman is a performer, music teacher and yoga instructor in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She has enjoyed living and working across the United States, and feels blessed to wake up each morning feeling passionate about her work.

Cast in her first musical at age 5, Hannah has been singing for over 20 years and currently takes voice with Cathryn Frazier-Neely. Other passions include yoga, jazz and traveling.

training & education

A native Texan, Hannah graduated from Indiana University's School of Music with degrees in Vocal Performance and Arts Administration before heading to the East Coast to live and work as an actress in Newport, Rhode Island (www.AstorsBeechwood.com). In 2005, she moved to Washington, DC to participate in the Kennedy Center's Vilar Institute for Arts Administration, and worked for a time at the Shakespeare Theatre Company before deciding to pursue her performing and teaching careers.

She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE), and teaches a wonderfully diverse studio of vocalists, ranging from first-time singers to full-time performers.

special skills

Hannah is also a certified yoga instructor, and leads classes at Washington Sports Clubs throughout the region, as well as private and workplace sessions. For more information, see www.ComeHometoYoga.com.
